Blue Water

I had the chance to visit the area around beautiful Bruce Peninsula!! Have you ever been? If you haven’t, here’s a quick peek at the beautiful scenery.

You can explore one of the following beaches in the area:

The Grotto – We were planning to go to The Grotto, but we slept in and didn’t make it there in time for the parking spots. The parking spots are allocated on a first come first serve basis. You can visit the website here to get more information. This area is gorgeous and a MUST visit. Plan to leave early (5 AM at least) so you can get the prime spot. It’s one of the most popular tourist destinations and gets super busy. There are also twitter updates here for parking spots and other information. This area does require a hike to get t The Grotto, so be prepared (wear your hiking shoes).

Little Cove – The video above is of this beautiful beach that will seem like your private paradise because not many visitors go here. It has pebbles, so you will need chairs if you want to relax at this beach. It has a lot of shaded areas, and crystal clear water. Parking is free in this area.

If you prefer sand beaches, it’s best to visit these: Singing Sands & Dunks Bay

The Big Tub – This beach is quiet and small. It has rocks instead of sand or pebbles. There’s also a lighthouse at this location.

Flowerpot Island Cruise – Another interesting activity at the Bruce Peninsula is the cruise on the glass bottom boat. You can see sunken ships, and go to the flower pot island.

Beach bag essentials:

Hope you’re enjoying your summer and soaking up all the vitamin D!!

Thank you for visiting my blog!!

Denim on Denim

A denim jacket is the perfect accessory to your denim jeans and a casual top.  It’s always a challenge being comfortable and chic while traveling.  We walked a lot in Vancouver city around the harbor where I saw the pixel whale and had dinner at cactus club while watching a beautiful sunset. We also walked through Gas town.  Several cute boutique stores and restaurants set a European vibe in this town along with the cobble stone roads.  I also saw the famous steam clock here.

I’ve linked a few comfortable items for a day of walking in the links below.
